One single over, India could have played better and scenario would have been different, in other word India would have won the match,…..second last ball of the Indian innings, that Zaheer khan missed out at the last over could have been a run “a golden run” and that would have been the crucial factor for a decision.

A match with electrifying impact on viewers like never before a real roller coaster ride made the Sunday evening heated up with high heart beat. Strauss’s amazing innings till tail of the game went in vein in front of Zaheer’s storming bowling attack, a thrilling over and match turned on Indian side, Bresnan’s hita six to Piyush chawla in 48.5 over and match turned on England side very next ball Piyush got wicket of him and again match turn on Indian side…..and so on…. Real high pressure match ended with an interesting tie.

Indian batting went on nice till 40 over then on it was a nightmare after reaching to such a brilliant stage Tendualkar and Yuvi’s decision to take the batting power play proved to be wrong it was any way a nice flow of runs from both the batsman (Sachin and Yuvi), same story happened to England team as well after they took the power play the match turned to be a nightmare hypothetically match was being controlled by POWER PLAY.

England started the chase with a balanced batting and kept on scoring runs as fast as possible which was phenomenal by 15 over England’s score was 110, a fine opening partnership between Peterson and Strauss, Peterson got out in a caught and bowled by Munaf patel, still Indian bowling couldn’t put break on England’s chasing. Strauss played an electrifying innings became the highest English batsman to score 158 in world cup. A concrete partnership between Strauss and Bell stretched the England’s chase to 280/2 and real disaster took place Zaheer Khan took wicket in one over and another in alternative over which was a big shock for England, bad luck didn’t end with that Harbhajan took another wicket and in the power play, England scored 20 runs by loosing 4 wicket in batting power play. Required run rate sometime took the aerial root sometime touched the ground, Bresnan, hit a six and got out Swann hit a six and re created the hope of win for England finally Shahazad hit a six to munaf patel and match came almost to an end, but patel bowled well and dragged the match to last ball with a need of 2 runs but England’s chase closed with one runs sum up their chase to 338 and match ended up with a Tie.
