The day two of third and final test beings with Warnapura and night watch man Chaminda Vass started batting from the over night score of 14 for the loss of one wicket. Warnapura got out in the first hour of the day. The most frustrating part of the day came when Chaminda Vass being a night watch man scored 47 valuable runs for his side3.
The hero of the day was Kumar Sangarakara, who scored an unbeaten century by hitting 11 fours to the fence. For India Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan took two wickets each while Ishant Sharma and Anil Kumble took one wicket each.
